1. General


Q: What is The Paris Edit?

A: The Paris Edit is a Parisian-inspired creative studio in Johannesburg. Our space is designed for content creators, photographers, brands, and entrepreneurs to bring their ideas to life through photoshoots, videos, events, and workshops.


Q: Who can book the studio?

A: Anyone! Our doors are open to all creators, from influencers and small business owners to photographers and creative agencies.


Q: What types of content can I create here?

A: The studio is versatile and perfect for photoshoots, product shoots, fashion editorials, podcast recordings, video content, and even intimate masterclasses.



2. Bookings & Payments


Q: How do I book the studio?

A: You can book directly through our website’s booking system or email us at info@theparisedit.co.za.


Q: Do I need to pay a deposit?

A: Yes, a deposit is required to secure your booking, with the balance due before your session.


Q: What payment methods do you accept?

A: We accept Yoco, PayFast, and EFT.


Q: Can I book the studio for half a day or a full day?

A: Absolutely! We offer hourly, half-day, and full-day packages depending on your needs.


Q: Can I extend my booking if I need more time?

A: Yes, as long as the studio is available after your slot. Extensions are billed at our hourly rate.



3. Cancellations & Refunds


Q: What is your cancellation policy?

A: Bookings cancelled more than 48 hours in advance may be refunded or rescheduled. Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable.


Q: Do you offer refunds if I can’t make my booking?

A: Refunds are only offered for cancellations made more than 48 hours before your booking. Otherwise, you may reschedule (subject to availability).


Q: Can I reschedule my booking?

A: Yes, rescheduling is allowed if requested at least 24 hours in advance.



4. Studio Use


Q: What is included in my booking?

A: Bookings include access to our styled studio sets, furniture, Wi-Fi, natural lighting, and select props.


Q: Can I bring my own props/equipment?

A: Yes! You are welcome to bring your own gear. Just let us know in advance if you’re bringing large items.


Q: Is there assistance on-site during my booking?

A: A studio manager will be available to assist you with entry, setup, and general studio guidelines.


Q: Do you allow large teams or group shoots?

A: Yes, but please inform us of the size of your team when booking so we can prepare the space.


Q: Can I host an event, masterclass, or workshop in the space?

A: Please get in touch with us to discuss the type of gathering.



5. Facilities & Amenities


Q: Do you provide lighting and equipment, or should I bring my own?

A: The studio includes natural light and styled settings. Additional equipment such as cameras, lights, or tripods must be brought by clients.


Q: Is there a changing/fitting room available?

A: Yes, we provide a private fitting room for outfit changes.


Q: Do you provide hair and makeup areas?

A: Yes, our vanity station is available for hair and makeup prep.


Q: Do you have Wi-Fi for clients?

A: Yes, high-speed Wi-Fi is included with your booking.


Q: Is parking available?

A: Yes, we offer both secure on-site parking and street parking.


Q: Is there catering or a café on-site?

A: Not yet — but light refreshments can be arranged at an additional cost. We have free coffee in the studio


6. Rules & Guidelines


Q: Are food and drinks allowed in the studio?

A: Yes, but please handle with care. Food setups must be pre-approved.


Q: Do you allow alcohol for events/shoots?

A: Alcohol is allowed for private events and must be arranged in advance.


Q: Is smoking allowed?

A: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the studio.


Q: Who is responsible for damages if something breaks?

A: Clients are responsible for any damage caused during their booking.


Q: Can I play music during my shoot?

A: Yes, you’re welcome to play music at a moderate volume.



7. Content & Usage


Q: Do I own the rights to the content I create in the studio?

A: Yes, all content you create belongs to you.


Q: Can I tag The Paris Edit on social media?

A: We’d love that! Please tag us @theparisedit.studio so we can share your work.


Q: Do you offer in-house photography or videography services?

A: We don’t offer in-house services yet, but we’re happy to recommend trusted partners.



8. Location & Access


Q: Where is the studio located?

A: We’re based at 139 Greenway, Greenside, Randburg, 2034, Johannesburg.


Q: What are your operating hours?

A: The studio is open by booking, Monday–Sunday, from 9AM–6PM.


Q: Is the studio wheelchair accessible?

A: Yes, but please contact us incase the elevator is not accessible on the day.


Q: How early can I arrive before my booking?

A: You may arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled time. Extra time before or after will be billed at our hourly rate.
